Working for us, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy and exciting environment. You will be responsible for assisting our Cook in preparing nutritious and appetising meals whilst ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Other duties will include setting up and clearing away tables and general cleaning duties. Working hours are Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks), ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. We offer an 'annualised' pay scheme so that our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks. Qualifications:
- The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good communication and people skills.
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
Personal Qualities:
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other catering duties.
A Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job.
Welsh Language: Welsh language level - verbal Level 2. You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
