Come and join our team! If you are passionate about cooking and have a good work ethic, we would love to hear from you because our self-motivated and dedicated team requires a Catering Assistant. Working for us, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy and exciting environment. You will be responsible for assisting our Cook in preparing nutritious and appetising meals whilst ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Other duties will include the setting up and clearing away of tables and general cleaning duties. This post is for 26.25 hours per week / 5.25 hours per day. Hourly rate is £13.16. Working hours are Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks), ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. We offer an 'annualised' pay scheme so that our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks. We need a motivated and dedicated person who has:
- The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good communication and people skills.
- The ability to work on their own and as part of a team.

- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other catering duties.
