An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Llanelli Waterside Officer to join our Town Centre Team within Economic Development at Carmarthenshire County Council.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and energetic individual with the necessary skills to support the delivery of a multi-million-pound regeneration initiatives within the coastal environment of Llanelli, extending from the Loughor Gateway to Pembrey/Burry Port.
As part of a progressive and professional team, you will play a key role in developing and implementing physical regeneration programmes for Llanelli Waterside. You will be involved with key development projects from concept to completion, including land asset disposals, and will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
You will be an excellent communicator and negotiator, confident in dealing with people at all levels. With strong IT skills and a solid understanding of project management, property development and regeneration, you will be able to work independently, meet deadlines and contribute to the wider goals of the Economic Development team. Above all, we are looking for someone with a passion for regeneration and a can-do attitude.
