Required for September 2026, or as soon as possible, a part‑time (0.7 FTE) permanent classroom practitioner to teach Humanities across the age and ability range at Glan‑y‑Môr School. Applications are welcome from all disciplines within Humanities. The role may involve teaching some KS3 English. The appointment offers an excellent opportunity for a first‑class teacher who has the ability and vision to lead pupils to exceptional outcomes to join an experienced department with a strong team ethos.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Humanities across both KS3 and KS4 within the subject discipline.
  • Work collaboratively to maximise the potential of all pupils.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a forward‑thinking curriculum, including Year 10 and 11 options.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the federation, while being based at Glan‑y‑Môr.

  • NQTs are welcome to apply.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
  • Welsh language level – verbal Level 2; a basic level of conversational Welsh is required with reasonable support to reach this level.
