We’re looking for a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join CARMA’s commercial team. The role focuses on identifying and engaging potential clients across the UK, Europe, and the USA.
Key Responsibilities- Research and identify mid-market to enterprise organisations online using targeted tools and channels.
- Obtain key PR and Communications stakeholder contact details to develop new leads across the UK, Europe, and the USA.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for the Commercial Team.
- Collaborate with Consultants and Account Managers to multi-thread leads and foster engagement with multiple stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the company CRM system.
- Outreach to prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events to establish relationships and schedule discovery calls.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team and external PR agencies to support lead generation campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Share updates with potential clients on CARMA’s new products, services, and developments.
- Once qualified, hand over leads to Business Development Managers and Consultants for further development and conversion.
- Collect and clearly communicate relevant data and insights about prospects to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely progress reports.
- Maintain comprehensive records of leads, contacts, opportunities, proposals, and revenue using the CRM.
- Develop a thorough understanding of CARMA’s platform, products, and services.
- Articulate the benefits and unique value of CARMA’s offerings to PR and Communications clients confidently.
- Tenacious, results-driven personality with a positive attitude toward outbound prospecting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional phone presence.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and prioritise effectively.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working across teams.
- Understanding of PR, communications, or marketing sectors is advantageous.
- Ideally, a degree or equivalent qualification.
- 6–12 months of experience in a sales, lead generation, or appointment-setting role preferred.
