Key Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation, structuring and execution of transactions within this fast-growing segment of the private capital market.
- Manage due diligence process, including leveraging third-party resources and interacting with sponsors.
- Develop and mentor junior investment professionals.
- Determine appropriate valuations, legal/tax structures and capital structures.
- Prepare memos and recommendations for investment committee.
- Negotiate legal documentation and financing documents.
- Prepare periodic investor updates and support Portfolio Finance fundraising activities.
Professional Experience
- The target candidate will have a minimum of 4 and up to 8 years of experience, with prior experience in portfolio finance, private credit and/or credit secondaries.
- Successful candidates will be team players with the confidence to interact with external counterparties through frequent direct interaction and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong familiarity with private equity and/or credit investments.
- Previous experience in structuring and executing private credit investments, with preference for candidates with experience within portfolio finance and/or credit secondaries.
- Advanced financial modeling capability, including the ability to work without templates to interpret financial metrics when analyzing investment opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
