CarLux is a growing business with a recently acquired independent Service & MOT Centre with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, customer service, and vehicle preparation. Due to continued expansion and a fresh outlook, we are looking to recruit 2 experienced Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join our team. We work on a wide range of vehicles mainly your everyday brands, carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, MOT preparation, and general mechanical work.
The Role
- Vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Brake, suspension, clutch, and engine repairs (No big work)
- Timing belt/chain replacement
- MOT preparation and repairs
- Vehicle inspections and health checks
- Maintaining high workshop standards
- Working efficiently while delivering quality workmanship
What we're looking for
- Essential:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
- Good diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
- Preferred:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- MOT Tester licence
- Experience with a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnostic software experience
