We’re hiring a MIG Welder for our Stafford, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
Location: Stafford, TX
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Description of Duties:
- Perform fabrication, fitting, assembly, and welding of metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Review blueprints and work instructions to ensure products are built accurately and meet dimensional requirements.
- Conduct mock-ups and initial assemblies for inspection and approval prior to full production runs.
- Inspect materials and completed work for defects, damage, or non-conforming conditions.
- Operate welding equipment safely while producing consistent, high-quality welds.
- Move and organize materials throughout the production process while maintaining an orderly work area.
- Assist with projects and support other departments as needed to meet production goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in welding, fabrication, or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Proficient in using measuring tools, including tape measures and other basic inspection equipment.
