Carlton Young specialises in the recruitment of professionals across the Accountancy, Finance, HR, and Insurance sectors. We are currently partnering with an award-winning multi-site retail outlet who are looking for a People Relations Adviser.

This is a hands-on role supporting managers across a multi-site business with employee relations, performance management and absence management. You will provide practical, commercial HR support while ensuring company policies and employment legislation are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on people matters
  • Support absence management, performance management and employee relations cases
  • Assist with disciplinary, grievance and capability processes
  • Manage long-term sickness cases and occupational health referrals
  • Support probation reviews and performance improvement plans
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Support wider HR projects and people initiatives
About You
  • Previous experience in a People/HR Advisor role
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
