A well-established insurance broker based between Poole and Bournemouth is looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler to join their team. Working across an SME and Commercial Property portfolio, along with more complex cases, you will develop relationships with policyholders and manage the requirements needed to support and retain business, as well as assisting with new business development.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the business in achieving targets on both New Business and Renewals, including completing the required administrative work.
- Reviewing the pipeline of work and carrying out prospective calls to potential clients.
- Working closely with New Business Executives, managing their diaries and appointments as required.
- Completing quotations as required, considering a variety of additional options for clients where appropriate.
- Preparing detailed reports to be presented to clients.
- Developing relationships with insurers and strengthening ties across the business.
- Dealing with incoming queries and actioning requirements where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Handling new business enquiries.
- Completing mid-term adjustments and renewals across a variety of policy types.
- Communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience with the Acturis system would be beneficial, but is not essential.
