We are looking for a Workshop Assembly Technician or apprentice, based in the small village of Chalgrove on the outskirts of Oxford. The role involves switching between a few different activities including:

  • Fitting thermocouple plugs
  • Soldering wire harnesses to sensors
  • Soldering connectors to PCBs
  • Joining different sized small diameter cables together using hook joints and solder
  • Wiring together DIN rail components in small electrical enclosures
  • Potting electrical components into housings

Training will be given. The hours are 9:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch and coffee breaks. Experience in some or all of the above would be an advantage; however, training will be given.
