The Role
Your role is to identify and secure partnership opportunities that elevate the Carlton Scott brand. From collaborating with local authorities and startup organisations to securing podcast appearances, guest expert slots, media coverage, and referral partnerships, your outreach will fuel our visibility, reputation, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential strategic partners across business, media, events, and education sectors
- Reach out to organisations, podcasts, event hosts, and media platforms to explore collaboration opportunities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of outreach contacts using CRM or spreadsheets
- Secure guest appearances for our founder on relevant UK podcasts and business platforms
- Pitch collaboration ideas and write compelling partnership proposals or intro emails
- Coordinate and track follow-ups to ensure deals move forward
- Support PR outreach (awards, speaking opportunities, media coverage) in collaboration with our marketing team
- Work closely with the founder to align outreach with business goals and upcoming campaigns
Who You Are
- A confident communicator with experience in outreach, partnerships, or business development
- Naturally persuasive and professional, both written and verbal
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple outreach conversations at once
- Familiar with the UK entrepreneurial and business community
- Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, LinkedIn, email automation, and CRM platforms
- Bonus: Previous experience in PR, marketing, or influencer partnerships
