About Us: Carlton Scott is a business consultancy and mentorship powerhouse with a mission to help small businesses scale smart and fast. We work with entrepreneurs, founders, and business owners through coaching, digital education, and our fast-growing membership platform. We're building a media-first, AI-powered ecosystem, and content is at the heart of everything.
Role Overview: We’re looking for a content creator who doesn’t just "post" — but crafts strategic content that builds brand equity, drives engagement, and sparks conversations. You’ll work closely with our founder and team to develop and distribute content that positions Carlton Scott as the only name businesses think of when it comes to growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating engaging, original content across multiple formats (short-form videos, reels, LinkedIn posts, carousel graphics, blog articles, newsletters, scripts)
- Collaborating on campaign ideas and content calendars for our platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and our own membership portal)
- Repurposing video content from our podcast and coaching sessions into bite-sized social content
- Using AI tools (like ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, etc.) to work smart and fast
- Researching and integrating trending topics in business, entrepreneurship, and mindset
- Helping us build a community and online presence that converts followers into fans — and fans into members
About You:
- You’re obsessed with creating valuable content that resonates and drives results
- You’re fluent in social-first storytelling, especially LinkedIn and Instagram
- You have a good eye for aesthetics and experience with basic design/video editing tools
- You’re proactive, self-motivated, and love turning big ideas into creative execution
- You understand UK business culture and what small business owners actually care about
Bonus:
- You’ve worked with personal brands or B2B content in the business/education/coaching space
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in content creation, social media, or marketing
- Portfolio or examples of past content work (links welcome!)
- Comfortable working remotely, attending weekly Zoom check-ins, and managing deadlines
- Strong grasp of British English and brand tone of voice
- Ability to adapt quickly to brand evolution and changing priorities
Why Work With Us:
- Work directly with a founder who has scaled 7- & 8-figure businesses
- Join a brand on a mission to become a national leader
- Flexible working with creative freedom
- Huge growth potential as we scale across the UK and beyond
