Salary: £28,481
Our client is looking for an energetic person to join their Housekeeping Team. The shifts are 7.5 hours across these hours: 7am - 3pm, 8am – 4pm, 11.30-7.30pm or split shifts (covering early mornings and evenings). Shift work is done over the seven day week. Due to the flexibility of hours that may be required, this position would best suit someone living locally.
Purpose and Scope of the Position
To be an integral part of the Housekeeping Team in all aspects of housekeeping and tending to the needs of our guests.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- To support the Housekeeping Team in the day-to-day operations of the House and to meet the requirements of the guests and visitors as determined by the forward calendar bookings.
- To assist the Team with preparing refreshments for visitors and to be vigilant to the needs of guests.
- To be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and tidying the House and ensuring that all rooms ranging from Bedrooms to Meeting Rooms are kept to an exceptional standard.
- To assist in food handling and serving of food at mealtimes.
- To assist with laundry and any other housekeeping duties that are required.
- Attend staff meetings from time to time and participate in any training activities as required.
- Be familiar with the fire precautions and all emergency procedures.
Work Experience / Knowledge
Experience in housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
Education and Qualifications
GCSE – English & Math’s or equivalent, City & Guilds Trade Qualifications or similar.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent personal hygiene and practice.
- Ability to follow instructions and to work safely.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
