We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Standalone HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of HR functions, ensuring compliance, fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the people within the business. You will believe in people before the process and be excited by the opportunity to help build our HR function from the ground up. You will be passionate about driving employee engagement and fostering a high-performance culture, while understanding the importance of good HR administration and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the full employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of our HR Systems and processes, ensuring compliance across the business.
- Implement policies and processes to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures discreetly, effectively and fairly.
- Help to foster a high-performance culture through performance management and career development programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.
- Oversee HR analytics, reporting and workforce insights to drive decision-making.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.
- Monitor and improve employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Proven experience in an HR business partner or Standalone HR Manager role.
- CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- High level of emotional intelligence with excellent communications skills.
- Demonstrable experience of collaborating across different departments and business partnering skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
