Job Responsibilities:
- Plans for special events and liaises with Marcom to provide input on marketing, including social media and other forms of publicity.
- Coordinates with Culinary, Catering Sales and other F&B Service Teams to ensure maximum productivity for the Bar.
- Selects and purchases liquor and other supplies in order to create drinks & food menus.
- Reviews menu pricing based on market trends and cost factors.
- Maintains inventory & ensures Bar is well stocked and clean.
- Monitors beverage and food costs; ensures meeting budget and produces positive P&L.
- Responsible for Bar’s cleanliness and equipment in good working condition.
- Works with HR for all staff hires, training, promotion, grievance and disciplinary action.
- Schedules staff/team duty roster and complies with hotel grooming standards and aligns with hotel core values.
- Responds to guest’s feedback promptly and seeks remedy action immediately.
- Initiates and maintains guests and vendors relationships.
- Reviews and updates Bar’s P&P regularly.
- Creates at least 1 event per quarter by partnering with Suppliers for promotional awareness.
- Develops with the team monthly Cocktail promotions (Cocktail of the month).
- Creates at least 5 beverage promotions per year.
Education and Work Experience:
- Diploma in F&B/Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of similar experience in the hotel or free-standing restaurant and bar.
- Accustomed to and comfortable with media exposure.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Highly organised with strong analytic and communication skills.
- Oral and written fluency in English and an additional language.
