Role Overview
The Trust Finance Officer will join the Central Trust Finance team, playing a key role in managing financial operations across all schools within the Trust.
The position works closely with the Chief Finance Officer and Trust Finance Managers to ensure accurate financial transactions, maintain compliance with the chart of accounts, support procurement, oversee grant spending, and manage contracts.
Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with the Trust’s chart of accounts.
- Support procurement activities to deliver value for money.
- Oversee spending against grants and specialist funding streams.
- Assist with contract management.
- Contribute to the smooth running of monthly financial routines.
Qualifications
- Experience in a finance role, preferably within school finance.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Flexible approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with Access Education Finance is advantageous.
