Launched in January 2023 in Frankfurt, our Debt Advisory practice has rapidly become the go-to address for numerous financial sponsors and corporates in the DACH region. By mid‑2024, we were ranked the second most active debt advisor in Germany according to Leverest. We are now poised to build on our successful market establishment across the DACH region, with the UK our top priority for European expansion.

You will:

  • Structure, analyse and execute debt financing solutions, including acquisition financings, refinancings, growth financings and project financings.
  • Build and review financial models, cash flow analyses and credit metrics, including sensitivity and scenario analyses.
  • Support and increasingly lead debt advisory mandates throughout the full financing process.
  • Prepare information memoranda, lender presentations and management materials for financing processes.
  • Coordinate and communicate with banks, debt funds and other financing providers during marketing and negotiation phases.
  • Support the negotiation of term sheets, credit documentation and financial covenants in cooperation with senior team members and legal advisors.
  • Manage the financing‑related due diligence process and respond to lender information requests.
  • Conduct market analyses on debt products, pricing, structures and current financing trends.
  • Review work prepared by Analysts and provide guidance and on‑the‑job training.
  • Work closely with M&A, Equity Advisory and other Corporate Finance teams.

Requirements:

  • An excellent university degree with a focus on finance, accounting or a similar quantitative discipline.
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in debt/capital advisory or lending (bank or private debt investor).
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual and communication skills.
  • Confident and proficient use of MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Someone who brings their whole self to work - we think of ourselves as “corporate finance with a personality.”
