Do you have a passion for storytelling through great content, messaging and events? You will be responsible for promoting and communicating CWT's brand and value proposition with external and internal stakeholders. You lead all aspects of the region's messaging and content, assisting and contributing to the development of an ongoing and effective corporate, client and employee communications strategy.
You lead CWT's presence at local events, ensuring objectives are met, such as lead generation and promoting our brand and messaging. Communicate all necessary global, regional and local content in line with the marketing calendar. Help bring the messaging and branding of all lines of business. Conduct local internal, external communications and PR duties. You make content appealing and impactful for the local market. Oversee the local communication plan. Pro-actively share locally created content with the content and messaging community. Align the agreed strategy for all lines of business.
PR and External Comms
Working closely with the Global PR & External Comms team, you are the first point of contact for local media relations, local media events, press requests and press releases. Ensure local media spokespeople are kept up-to-date, briefed about media relevant topics. Write client newsletters and any ad hoc client-facing communications. You support the EMEA manager and event manager with the annual Business Travel Journalism Awards gala dinner and event.
Internal Comms
Distribute and proofread global or regional initiatives and conduct local internal comms initiatives. Set internal campaigns target, format, content and vehicles. Champion CWT's internal social network. Write the fortnightly internal UK & I newsletter. Gather local content for client proofpoints and success stories - to be used for PR purposes, case studies, content collateral and campaigns alongside marketing exec.
Other
Track success and input to monthly KPI reporting. Update and maintain the website with new content, press releases with support of in-house digital designers and studios. Brief global social media owners to include UK & I content and stories. You work closely with the supplier marketing manager to ensure supplier advertisements are included in different content opportunities.
Qualifications
You are fluent in English. PR expertise knowing and understanding the media environment. Proven experience in marketing communications. You are confident in presenting to management and teams. Experienced in creation and execution of live events. Strong project management, multi-tasking and time management skills. Highly accurate with an eye for quality and detail. Able to combine creative flair with organisational ability. You build and maintain strong professional relationships. Intercultural understanding and market comprehension. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience of the travel industry preferred but not required.
