Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic\'s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the role:
As part of the integration following the acquisition of Britvic by the Carlsberg Group, a newly created EHS structure has been implemented which supports the strategic alignment across all functions within Carlsberg Britvic UK. This new structure has created 3 new roles to support the effective execution at site level while fostering a proactive safety culture through visible leadership and impactful coaching, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement, and enabling focused expertise in key areas‑all underpinned by strong cross‑functional collaboration.
We are now recruiting for an EHS Specialist Reporting to the EHS Senior Manager. This role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Support environmental compliance and continuous improvement across production, logistics, sales, and admin functions
- Coordinate and implement environmental and risk reduction projects aligned with regulatory and corporate standards
- Manage and maintain the UK EHS Management System, including documentation, policies, procedures, and templates
- Support incident management systems and training across the UK business
- Adapt and roll out Group EHS programs across relevant functions
- Assist H&S Managers with audits, environmental responsibilities, and reporting of outcomes
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual EHS performance reports for regulatory and internal use
- Coordinate EHS compliance audits and maintain accurate records of non‑conformances and corrective actions
- Lead and implement cross‑functional EHS projects, ensuring consistency and stakeholder engagement
- Support EHS strategies within admin functions and track progress against national EHS plans
Experience and Key Attributes:
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) or working towards completion, with 2-7 years\' EHS experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and ISO standards, with hands‑on audit and risk assessment experience
- Skilled in project management, able to implement and roll out EHS initiatives across multiple functions and sites
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and EHS software
- Proven ability to work in a matrix structure, manage competing priorities, and drive results
- Strong communicator and collaborator, able to influence stakeholders and foster cross‑functional teamwork
- Passionate about safety, with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
- Willingness to travel across UK sites, including overnight stays, to support audits and operational activities
