About the role:
We are now recruiting for a Network Stocks Planner, reporting into the Network Stocks Planning Team Leader. This role will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimise deployment plans and minimise end‑to‑end supply chain costs.
- Track product sales to adjust Route to Market and depot stocking policies, reducing transfer costs while maintaining strong availability.
- Own and communicate all depot stocking policy changes, acting as the link between logistics, demand planning, and commercial teams.
- Use SAP APO to model goods-in and intersite transfers, identifying efficiency risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Oversee key SAP master data attributes, providing guidance and training to ensure accurate population by planning teams.
- Analyse product performance to reduce obsolescence risk.
- Work with commercial teams to consolidate stock and flex RTM strategies to support clearance activity.
- Train with external SAP specialists to become an SAP APO expert and provide planning teams with escalation support.
- Carry out additional duties aligned with the role’s level and responsibilities.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- An experienced planner having worked in finished goods planning roles within FMCG.
- Comfortable working with tight deadlines particularly where priorities may be competing; highly organised and structured.
- A positive approach to change and ambiguity is essential for this role.
- Experience of working with SAP APO functionality (Essential).
- Able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
- Be an analytical thinker.
- Be an excellent communicator with the ability to build effective professional relationships.
- Strong attention to detail.
