About the role:

We are now recruiting for a Network Stocks Planner, reporting into the Network Stocks Planning Team Leader. This role will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to optimise deployment plans and minimise end‑to‑end supply chain costs.
  • Track product sales to adjust Route to Market and depot stocking policies, reducing transfer costs while maintaining strong availability.
  • Own and communicate all depot stocking policy changes, acting as the link between logistics, demand planning, and commercial teams.
  • Use SAP APO to model goods-in and intersite transfers, identifying efficiency risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Oversee key SAP master data attributes, providing guidance and training to ensure accurate population by planning teams.
  • Analyse product performance to reduce obsolescence risk.
  • Work with commercial teams to consolidate stock and flex RTM strategies to support clearance activity.
  • Train with external SAP specialists to become an SAP APO expert and provide planning teams with escalation support.
  • Carry out additional duties aligned with the role’s level and responsibilities.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • An experienced planner having worked in finished goods planning roles within FMCG.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines particularly where priorities may be competing; highly organised and structured.
  • A positive approach to change and ambiguity is essential for this role.
  • Experience of working with SAP APO functionality (Essential).
  • Able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
  • Be an analytical thinker.
  • Be an excellent communicator with the ability to build effective professional relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
