Location: West Thurrock, RM20 3LB

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week on a Monday to Friday basis. Working 8 hours per day, between the core hours of 5am and 8pm. Shift hours to be agreed upon with the business upon successful appointment.

About the role: We are offering a great opportunity for someone who enjoys change, problem solving and working in a detail orientated environment, looking for someone who is adaptable and great with detail. From completing paperwork and data reporting to chatting with our dray crews and dealing with customer queries, this role is a busy role where no two days are the same!

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date transport documentation
  • Compile daily reports and KPI’s
  • Deal with customer queries and close in SAP system
  • Support and cover for Holiday and Sickness within the Logistics Administration Team
  • Communicate across the network via email and phone
  • Completing daily driver debrief and updating on relevant systems
  • Liaising with suppliers and working with the wider team to raise necessary PO’s
  • Completing end of shift tasks including coordinating future day activities and task management

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • A first-class communicator, comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels across the business
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office required and further experience using SAP and EPOD systems desirable
  • Happy to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise your workload and manage deadlines effectively
  • Previous experience working within logistics would be desirable however not required
