Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading brewers in the UK, formed from a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston's PLC.
We are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join us. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for transporting our stock of lagers, ales, and craft beers from our Bedford depot to our customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.
- Supporting the Driver's Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
- Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
- Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
- Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
- Knowledge of local region.
- Customer service skills.
- Manual handling experience and/or training desirable; however, full training will be provided during induction.
