Carlsberg Marstons Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marstons PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing. CMBC are currently looking for a Technical Engineer to join our facilities team on a 12 Month FTC. Reporting into the U&E Manager, this a great opportunity to for someone with a facilities background to learn about the world of brewing! What will you be doing as Technical Engineer? Analyse utilities usage to identify areas of improvement and cost reduction projects. Play a key part in CAPEX projects associated with utilities and environment, providing technical support, liaising with suppliers, as well being involved in the implementation phase. Manage and develop the current utilities management system. Drive utilities consumption improvements and achieve the utilities KPIs in the different areas of the brewery through a cross-functional team. Utilise Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive process optimization. Coach and develop Engineers and apprentices in the use of SAP. What are we looking for? Previous experience in a similar role in a FMCG business. Proven understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, including automation. Ability to problem solve and deliver solutions in a complex FMCG environment. Experience in delivering within CAPEX projects. Prior experience of data analysis, with an advanced level of excel knowledge. Full working rights within the UK.
