Job Title: Productivity & Efficiency Manager
Location: Field Based, with travel to all relevant sites in our network.
Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, working on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility required to work hours to suit business needs.

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. About the role:
We’re looking for a Productivity & Efficiency Manager to help shape the future of our logistics network. You’ll use data and insight to drive smarter ways of working, improve warehouse and transport productivity, and support depots to deliver efficient, high-performing operations. Perfect for a hands-on problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Productivity & Efficiency Manager. Reporting to the Head of Network Strategy & Efficiency, this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate and consistent productivity measures and KPIs for warehouse and distribution operations across the network.
- Analyse task-level productivity, including picking, replenishment, loading, shift utilisation, vehicle capacity, and cost per tonne.
- Benchmark best practices across depots and define tailored productivity targets and improvement plans.
- Support depot teams in setting operational budgets and resource plans to optimise utilisation and reduce cost.
- Review and recommend dynamic working hour models to enhance efficiency and flexibility.
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of time and attendance systems to ensure accurate data capture.
- Partner with depot and regional teams to identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and operational insight.
- Provide clear recommendations on resourcing strategies that balance cost efficiency with service and safety standards.
- Support the delivery of warehouse and distribution improvement initiatives, including layout optimisation and automation.
- Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement, strengthen accountability, and embed best practice across all locations.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Extensive operational experience in warehousing and/or distribution, with a strong understanding of processes and timelines.
- High-level analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience working with performance data.
- Strong knowledge of WMS and SAP systems, and experience managing depot budgets or P&L.
- Proven ability to develop and implement productivity measures and operational improvement plans.
- Skilled communicator and influencer, confident engaging at management and depot leadership levels.
- Continuous improvement mindset, using data and CI tools to drive measurable results.
- Safety-focused and efficiency-driven, balancing cost optimisation with operational integrity.
- Flexible and field-based, able to travel between sites to build relationships and ensure consistent performance standards.
