If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Sales Development Executive stretching across our key South Central cities from Guildford to Portsmouth & Southampton.
Reporting to the Regional Controller, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead identifying & growing existing customer base & sales across your territory, working with licensed bars, restaurants, hotels, sports venues and pubs.
- Ensure the correct balance of prospect calls to existing stockists to drive customer wins.
- Utilise all the Carlsberg Britvic commercial levers available to ensure that new distribution is both won and secured through contracts.
- Strengthen existing relationships within your territory as well as growing and developing your network further by identifying new opportunities for business.
- Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Live within the territory and have a full driving license is a necessity.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, sales, & interpersonal skills to create first-class customer relationships.
- Be ambitious with a drive to progress your career within Carlsberg-Britvic further.
- Be commercially aware - demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities, negotiate deals and close transactions.
- Experience of sales in an FMCG, retail or similar environment would be beneficial.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written to convey information, influence decisions and build rapport.
- Time Management – Excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage diary and meet sales targets within deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment, adaptable to change.
- Problem Solver – proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing creative solutions to overcome obstacles and drive sales growth.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross functional teams.
