- Build technical capability across Production Teams through hands-on coaching and the creation of robust Standard Operating Procedures to drive daily performance excellence.
- Champion a lean, continuous-improvement culture by coaching teams in effective root-cause analysis and leading CI initiatives that deliver measurable results.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships through clear communication and collaboration, ensuring consistent performance standards across the site.
- Act as a visible role model for Health, Safety and Environmental excellence, driving site-wide engagement and compliance.
- Own and deliver departmental Quality KPIs, working closely with Quality and Operations to ensure physicochemical, microbiological and legislative standards consistently met.
- Standardise and optimise plant processes and hygiene practices, ensuring full compliance and operational consistency.
- Partner with Carlsberg Group colleagues to share best practice, support benchmarking, and embed standards aligned with the Carlsberg Operational Manual.
- Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to manage material quality, supply performance and improvement initiatives.
- Work with Production, Planning and Quality teams to meet daily operational targets, minimise downtime and troubleshoot issues through effective problem-solving and sustainable root-cause solutions.
- Lead the introduction of new technologies, processes, products and materials, and support equipment optimisation alongside the Technical Engineer.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, communicating confidently at all levels and challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
Experience and Key Attributes Required:
- Strong IT capability, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably hands-on experience with automation or process-control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to apply continuous-improvement and problem-solving tools (e.g., PDCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa) in a structured and consistent way.
- Proven skill in influencing operational teams and driving meaningful, lasting change across production environments.
- Ability to coach, develop and upskill others to embed sustainable improvements and optimise processes.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to anticipate issues, prevent process losses and manage competing priorities.
- Solid project-management capability, able to lead and deliver technical, process or improvement projects on time and to standard.
- Strong knowledge of Lean management systems and troubleshooting methodologies, with the confidence to challenge the status quo constructively.
