Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks. With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depots servicing customers across the UK.
Due to internal moves, Carlsberg Britvic are currently looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to provide leadership and drive performance within our brewing and processing teams. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering change in all aspects of the B&P operation to achieve the lowest cost base while meeting quality and service requirements.
- Developing a behavioural safety culture and promoting a safe working environment by ensuring full compliance with all SH&E Policy and process.
- Building and executing strategic plans ensuring the team remains focused on delivering results and building capability.
- Leading cost-saving initiatives through teams, rewarding success and building individual capability.
- Communicating strategic plans to multiple stakeholders across the business, giving regular performance updates and local KPI targets.
- Recruiting, leading, motivating and developing a flexible and agile multi-disciplined production team.
- Creating an environment of good manufacturing practice, ensuring the development and delivery of upskilling with the B&P team.
- Effective performance management of all direct reports, focusing on behavioural change that will inspire and motivate individuals to deliver results.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent with demonstrable experience within a blue-chip food manufacturing / FMCG company.
- Preferably studying for IBD Master Brewer or equivalent.
- Previous experience of delivering culture change and performance management in a large FMCG business.
- Knowledge and experience of using Lean tools and techniques to deliver sustained improvements.
- Capable and experienced people leader, standard setting, influencing, motivating, coaching and developing skills.
- Current or ability to obtain Full UK working rights.
