About the role:

As part of our dynamic and collaborative team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our portfolio through insight-led strategy and breakthrough innovation, helping accelerate growth in the health and wellness sector.

As Senior Brand Manager, Strategy & Innovation, you will be responsible for defining the long-term growth strategy for the Plenish portfolio and leading the development of our innovation pipeline. You will combine deep consumer, category and brand insight with commercial thinking to identify opportunities, develop winning products and ensure successful market launches. Working cross-functionally across the business, you will bring innovation from concept through to launch, balancing consumer desirability, commercial viability and operational feasibility.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Long-Term Brand Strategy: Lead the development of long-term portfolio and category growth strategies, identifying future opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
  • Annual Operating Plan: Co-create the annual operating plan, translating strategic priorities into actionable innovation and brand growth initiatives.
  • Consumer & Category Insights: Generate and synthesise consumer, brand and category insights to identify emerging trends, unmet needs and commercial opportunities, ensuring strategy is grounded in robust evidence.
  • Innovation Pipeline Development: Own and manage the innovation pipeline, prioritising opportunities across New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD) and future growth platforms.
  • Product Development & Margin Optimisation: Lead the end-to-end delivery of NPD and EPD projects, partnering closely with R&D and Finance to optimise product quality, cost and margin while maintaining brand standards.
  • Launch Strategy & Toolkits: Co-create compelling product launch toolkits, including positioning, value proposition, key messaging and launch assets, enabling effective execution across commercial and marketing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver innovation projects on time and in full, ensuring alignment across all business functions.
  • Strategic Influence: Champion a consumer-first, innovation-led mindset across the organisation, inspiring stakeholders and building confidence behind future growth plans.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Proven experience in FMCG brand management, innovation or strategy, ideally within food, beverages or health & wellness.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business cases and delivering profitable innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional innovation projects from concept to launch.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple business functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity, resilience and a passion for identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Passion for health and wellness, aligning with Plenish's mission and values.
