We are now recruiting for a Demand Planner for our beer brands. Reporting into the Senior Demand Planning Manager, this role will be responsible for forecasting demand using different sources of information.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage aligned forward forecast from Sales and overlay with market data, sales/EPOS data and latest intelligence to create a final demand view.
- Communicate key assumptions behind the latest forecasts, clearly highlighting future risks and opportunities and explaining the impact of forecast changes.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy through regular performance reviews, trend analysis, and tracking forecast versus actual sales.
- Manage customer prioritisation in close collaboration with Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics teams.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure forecasts accurately reflect planned sales initiatives and marketing activity.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Previous experience in demand planning within an FMCG business is essential.
- Familiarity with supply chain best practices, gained within industry.
- Advanced Excel user with knowledge of using multiple sources of data (SAP/ APO, Retail Link, Connect, BI etc).
- Initiative to analyse and understand data and provide insight to highlight risks and/or opportunities.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability and confidence to resolve problems and prioritise.
