We are now recruiting for a Global Category Manager for the Carlsberg Group. The role will manage the optimisation of POS materials (glassware, parasols, and printed materials) across our global businesses, ensuring best value and right quality for local operations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Managing and further improving the current portfolio of glassware, parasols & printed materials.
- Mapping categories’ spend cube and identifying areas and sub‑categories for optimisation.
- Developing global category strategies for the different sub‑categories of POS materials.
- Based on the category strategy, conducting global sourcing or developing best practice processes, tools and ways of working for the regions and markets to enable more efficient investment of these materials.
- Working with key senior global, regional and local stakeholders and procurement teams to deliver significant efficiencies in the POS materials area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within Procurement or Trade Marketing of POS Materials.
- Demonstrable experience of category spend optimisation, sourcing strategy development and execution, and solid project management.
- Fluent in English, with effective communication skills both verbally and written.
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across functions collaboratively.
Travel
This role will include monthly international travel to various Carlsberg Group sites.
