Location: Farnborough, GU14 6JF

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 46 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, but flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times from 5am onwards.

About the role

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Driver's Mate. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.
  • Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.
  • Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
  • Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes

  • Prior experience working as a driver’s mate, drayman or within a warehouse desirable however not required.
  • Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
  • Knowledge of local region.
