Warehouse Shift Manager
Entity / company: Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company
Location: Farnborough, GU14 6JF
Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, working on a 2 shift rotating pattern. Either 2pm to 10pm or 3pm to 11pm, on a Monday to Friday. Flexibility required to work outside of these hours to suit business needs.

About the role:
As Warehouse Shift Manager, you’ll lead and support the team to keep operations running safely, accurately, and on time. You’ll be actively involved in making sure stock is handled correctly, orders are picked with accuracy, and our people have the right support to perform at their best. If you’re an experienced warehouse leader with a focus on safety, efficiency, and team development, this is your chance to play a key role in delivering great service to our customers every day.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing skills required to deliver to our customers on time and in full
- Providing a high-quality service to suit customers’ needs
- Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure a smooth running of operations and meeting overall site objectives
- Supervising a team of operatives across different shifts.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Check for picking accuracy and breakages with investigations where necessary.
- Monitor physical inventory across the site to ensure that a perpetual inventory is maintained on a timely basis.
- Control the stock of Keg, Cask and Small Pack products, including wines, spirits and consumables
Experience and Key Attributes:
- IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP.
- Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team
- Experience working in a warehouse for an FMCG
- FLT licence (desirable) and experience (essential)
- Customer Service
