About the role:

Join the Shared Services team at Carlsberg Britvic as a Data Analyst and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate data maintenance within a controlled Data Governance framework. Reporting to the Master Data Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining Customer, Supplier, Financial, and associated hierarchy data across multiple platforms, while supporting data quality, process improvements, and regular data cleansing activities. This is a highly collaborative role requiring close partnership with project teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, business-relevant data that supports overall data governance and business strategies. The role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily requests to create, review, validate and maintain master data along with any associated hierarchies in SAP, and other related internal systems
  • Verify data submissions for customer and supplier account creation, by validating data against external sources such as Companies House and Experian
  • Maintain charts of accounts and financial hierarchies within multiple systems to ensure both statutory accounts and management reporting information is accurate
  • Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of new processes and/or enhancements to the systems that contain / generate master data
  • Perform ongoing data maintenance and cleansing activities to ensure all applications and systems contain quality and business relevant data
  • Work closely with the business/IT/Project teams to ensure alignment of master data rules and that the operations of application(s) meet all requirements
  • Create and/or maintain documentation and Data Dictionary with new or updated learnings to continue to grow our knowledge base and support data profiling
  • Regularly update managers and project teams with progress reports and dashboards
  • Participate in project activities, testing, implementation and education to business users

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • 1-2 years of master data experience or a similar role within a finance department.
  • SAP knowledge and experience advantageous
  • A good knowledge of company structures and key data requirements (Reg. Number, tax, bank data formats, etc.)
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel (lookups, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Visio
  • An understanding of Lean & Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Highly quality focused with excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of Master Data management best practice methodologies
