Overview
As National Account Controller for Booker, you will own the P&L across the soft drinks and beer portfolio and lead a team to deliver profitable growth. You’ll develop and execute commercial plans with Booker, manage pricing, promotions, and in-store execution, and partner across functions to unlock growth. You will shape long-term Booker strategy and collaborate with key retailers to drive sustainable performance. This is a high-impact role in a dynamic, market-facing environment with a clear growth agenda.

Responsibilities
- Own P&L performance across the portfolio and support growth delivery
- Develop and execute commercial plans to meet/exceed Booker budgets
- Establish executive-level relationships and deliver pricing, promotions, availability, and in-store execution
- Execute the Joint Business Plan and adapt strategy to market changes
- Partner cross-functionally with Booker, Tesco and One Stop to unlock growth
- Enhance forecasting accuracy and financial excellence with Account Managers and wider teams
- Strategically manage commercial risk and stay ahead of plan
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
- Shape and support the long-term Booker strategy with the Wholesale & Export Director
Key requirements
- Drinks industry experience (soft drinks and/or beer) with understanding of category dynamics
- Full P&L ownership and profitability focus
- Strong relationship-building with stakeholders at all levels
- Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Category, and Supply Chain
- Account management, forecasting and S&OP process expertise
- Negotiation skills for commercial agreements and renewals
