Location: West Thurrock, RM20 3LB

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Starting at 10pm and finishing at 6am on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility required to work outside of these hours and to cover other shifts to suit business needs.

About the role:

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative. Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Using a powered pallet truck, pick cases onto pallets for the dray crews, ensuring safe manual handling techniques are always used.
  • Unloading inbound stock where necessary.
  • Using an FLT to safely assemble and load stock onto drays.
  • Holding health and safety at the forefront of all procedures.
  • Assist with stock counting where required.
  • Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Experience using reach truck & FLT, preferably FLT with Clamp attachment.
  • FLT Licence.
  • Experience working within a warehouse for an FMCG.
  • Customer Service.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Health and Safety practices.
