Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP2 – hybrid working, 2/3 days per week from office

Contract / Working Hours: Permanent (Open to consider Full Time or Part Time/Job Share - must be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week). 35 hours per week (FTE).

Team Role:

Talent Acquisition Manager responsible for leading recruitment delivery across their business area/s, ensuring the organisation attracts and hires high‑quality talent efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment delivery across assigned business areas/functions.
  • Lead senior, specialist, or critical recruitment activity.
  • Ensure recruitment activity is delivered effectively, efficiently, and in line with agreed service expectations.
  • Identify hiring risks, market challenges, and delivery issues early.
  • Deliver an effective candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to develop effective sourcing and hiring approaches.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of TA Specialists.
  • Create clear accountability, prioritisation, and performance standards across the team.
  • Support team capability growth through coaching, feedback, and development.
  • Promote and develop a collaborative, balanced, solutions-focused team culture.
  • Ensure consistency in recruitment quality, stakeholder management, and process adherence.
  • Build credible and trusted relationships with hiring managers and functional leaders.
  • Provide market insight, hiring advice, and recruitment experience to support decision-making.
  • Question constructively where hiring approaches, expectations, or processes may impact outcomes.
  • Support workforce/succession planning discussions and hiring prioritisation within assigned business areas.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex recruitment challenges where required.
  • Support consistent and effective recruitment processes and ways of working.
  • Use recruitment data and insights to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support and lead initiatives that improve recruitment effectiveness, efficiency, and experience.
  • Promote ATS usage, process compliance, and data quality.
  • Contribute to broader TA projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Support initiatives relating to employer brand, talent pipelines, DE&I, assessment quality, and recruitment capability.
  • Share external market insight and best practice to help shape TA direction.
  • Act as a role model for modern, commercially focused Talent Acquisition practices.
  • Deliver hiring outcomes across assigned functions, positive stakeholder and candidate feedback, developing an effective, engaged, in-house Talent Acquisition team, recruitment process quality and consistency, continuous problem‑solving and improvement, and effective use of data and insight to inform decisions.
