About the role
Working in a top FMCG company with a fantastic chance to develop your career, while selling one of the most exciting portfolios in the On Trade.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsibility for growing and retaining your existing customer base and sales across your territory, working with licensed bars, restaurants, hotels, and pubs.
- Ensure the correct balance of prospect calls to existing stockists to drive customer wins.
- Utilise all the Carlsberg Britvic commercial levers available to ensure that new distribution is both won and secured through contracts.
- Strengthen existing relationships within your territory as well as growing and developing your network further by identifying new opportunities for business.
- Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times.
- Be passionate about the industry, keeping up to date with new trends and industry news.
Experience and Key Attributes
- Live within the territory and have a full driving licence – a necessity.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, sales, & interpersonal skills to create first‑class customer relationships.
- Be ambitious with a drive to progress your career within Carlsberg Britvic further.
- Be commercially aware – demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities, negotiate deals and close transactions.
- Experience of sales in an FMCG, retail or similar environment would be beneficial.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written to convey information, influence decisions and build rapport.
- Time management – excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage diary and meet sales targets within deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, adaptable to change.
