Location: Northampton Brewery, NN1

Job Length: 6-Month FTC

Shift: Monday to Friday – 8am – 4pm

About the Role

The role will be responsible for:

  • Support around 5S standards and hygiene within the department.
  • Ensure proper raw material stock rotation.
  • Manage chemical storage and container inventory.
  • Preparing any raw material batches for use in the Brewhouse.
  • Conduct high-level cleaning and forklifting as needed.
  • Support the shift-based team members with the day-to-day running of the department.
  • Actively ensure hygiene and Carlsberg Excellence (continuous improvements) targets within the team are maintained.
  • Drive initiatives for health and safety & environmental improvements.

Experience and Key Attributes

  • Experience using an FLT or FLT licence desirable, must be willing to train if no prior experience or licence.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • IT literate (QC/SPC, Word, Excel).
  • Have knowledge of the relevant Health, Safety & Environmental considerations.
  • Understanding of ‘right first time’ principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving production environment.
