We are looking for a National Account Manager for Managed Convenience, responsible for leading negotiations and developing account-specific strategic and tactical plans across Beer and Softs categories. The role focuses on delivering financial targets, distribution, execution, and share targets and has one direct report.
Responsibilities
- Build customer specific strategic plans for key customers, ensuring tailored annual plans align with channel financial and brand execution goals.
- Collaborate with customers to build best‑in‑class partnerships that deliver the plan and ensure flawless execution at outlet level.
- Develop, negotiate and execute a strong annual JBP with key customers in line with internal governance processes.
- Deploy the WAMOC plan (winning at the moments of choice) and feed flex requirements back to planning teams.
- Model, deliver and execute cost‑price increase plans, including negotiation and objection handling.
- Work with the Supply Chain collaboration manager to ensure accurate forecasting of customer volumes and accurate Xtel/Promax inputs.
- Develop and lead a broad, deep customer contact strategy to identify and capitalise on further business opportunities.
- Track account performance, implement course‑correct tactics, and drive a dynamic, cross‑functional, collaborative approach to maximise channel performance.
Process & Financial Management
- Fully accountable for the P&L of key accounts across Softs and Beer, building and agreeing appropriate investment plans.
- Administer allocated budgets to ensure spending aligns with guidelines and maximises ROI.
- Manage responsibilities and business processes using recognised CRM tools (Xtel, Promax, Anaplan, etc.).
Qualifications
- Strong commercial acumen to develop JBPs and tailored account plans.
- Understanding and confidence in P&L management and ownership, and volume and profit forecasting.
- Strong persuasive selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- A highly developed influencing style and comfort with constructive challenge.
- Proficient in priority setting, planning and time management.
