About the role
We have a long and proud history of brewing Ales, where we are currently leading in the category. Working on Hobgoblin & Wainwright, both brands have been on a journey of re-invention which we are incredibly proud of – Hobgoblin is the UK's No.1 Premium Ale and Wainwright is No.1 Cask Ale in the market.
Reporting to the Marketing Controller – Ales, this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities
- Lead on brand social media strategies and key partnership activations.
- Supporting the Marketing Controller & Brand Manager in sales initiatives and in delivering leading brand marketing.
- Support in driving profitable growth of the brand P&L and focused management of the marketing budget.
- Deliver clear and focused plans that deliver return on investment on ATL investment and BTL activation (above the line/ below the line).
- Influence across the commercial team (Marketing, Sales, Value Management and Category) to deliver maximum value for Customers, Consumers and Carlsberg Britvic.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a fantastic standard of brand execution and distribution growth across the UK market.
- Work across the full brand mix - packaging, pricing, marketing / sales support plan, to deliver growth targets for the brands.
Experience and Key Attributes
- Experience within an FMCG business/ brand is desired.
- An ability to understand our core audience in a way that brings the brand to life in an authentic way that resonates with our drinkers.
- Be a creative storyteller – bringing your life to work across the organisation through presentation and in person events.
- A collaborative team player who can respond to change in the market & internally.
- Results oriented with an instinct for driving initiatives to completion and delivering at pace.
- Ability to move from concept to action at the right time and able to keep self and teams focused on the right priorities.
- Ability to develop accountability across the organisation, with a strong focus on stakeholder relationships.
