About the role:
We are looking for a people focused manager, ensuring we have the right people, with the right training, doing the right things, at the right time. Maintain a high level of vehicle and driver compliance and ensure safety is at the forefront of any task. This is an operation and transport compliance role so experience in both is needed.

Reporting to theDepot Manager , this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
Ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to and all employee training is kept up to date.
Carrying out investigations and disciplinary hearings including completion of relevant documents.
Maintaining and updating fleet documentation including but not limited to vehicle check sheets, vehicle condition, training records, driver licences, risk assessments, health and safety, purchase order numbers.
Administrative duties surrounding fleet compliance and team members including the implementation and monitoring of KPIs.
Ensure that regulations relating to vehicles within the scope of the goods vehicles licensing of operators act are adhered to.
Experience and Key Attributes:
Must be a current and valid Transport Manager CPC holder
Ability to communicate clearly and engage with a broad spectrum of contacts both internally and externally
Experience with IT Systems such as, Microsoft Office, SAP, Microlise.
Clean Category C Licence is desirable
Keen attention to detail
Works well both individually and as part of a larger team
Collaborative and flexible mindset, willing to help team members when needed.
Someone that has good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise the work of self and others.
Experience of managing a team of distribution operatives
