About the role
As a Team Technician at our Beckton manufacturing site, you will help produce and package iconic brands including Pepsi, 7UP, Tango and R White's. Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring safety, quality and performance standards are achieved while driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain production equipment to deliver safety, quality and performance targets.
- Take ownership of health and safety, quality standards and housekeeping within your area.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support root cause problem solving.
- Drive asset care, equipment reliability and continuous improvement activities.
- Support and develop colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and best practice.
- Contribute to projects that improve plant performance, efficiency and ways of working.
Skills and experience:
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is desirable.
- Good understanding of health, safety and quality standards.
- Comfortable using computer systems and interpreting technical information.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO and COSHH standards would be advantageous.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or the ability to understand technical processes and documentation.
