About the Role:
This is a unique brand and activation manager role in a fun, collaborative and supportive team. In our quest to deliver more impactful and meaningful consumer experiences we are seeking a brand manager who is highly creative, entrepreneurial and has strong activation understanding. There are two key aspects to this role; the first is Brand Manager on Britvic Mixers and Juices to support delivery and expansion in our international business (40%), the second is sole responsibility for identifying and developing key consumer passion points and moments across the year where our brands can play together to deliver incremental impact in outlets and stores (60%). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and shopper strategy along with creative development, the role also requires strong influence skills and stakeholder management. The role sits within our GB Marketing team, who are responsible for stewarding our amazing portfolio of core brands, improving our brand equity & providing the fuel needed to achieve our commercial growth targets.
Role Responsibilities:
- Brand Management: Support the International marketing activation and commercial team in driving profitable growth of Britvic Mixers & Juices P&L.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure gold standard brand execution across international markets.
- Portfolio Activation Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive strategies for on and off trade portfolio activations that are aligned to consumer passion points & support brand objectives.
- Opportunity Scoping: Identify and evaluate new opportunities for brand activations across various channels and outlets, partnering with shopper insights.
- Portfolio brand activation platforms: develop the creative platforms with agency specialists which meet the needs of brand and shopper insight and needs.
- Toolkit Execution: Develop and execute toolkits to ensure consistent and impactful portfolio brand presence in stores and outlets building in the 6s framework where relevant.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and insights, to align activation strategies with overall goals & KPIs.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of portfolio activations, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets for Britvic Mixers & Juices and brand activation projects, ensuring cost‑effective execution without compromising quality.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail partners and external agencies.
Experience And Key Attributes:
- Experience in brand or shopper marketing, or a related role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand activation strategies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Evidence of personal development and a keen interest in how brands grow, effective marketing and up to date marketing thinking is essential.
- A strong Collaborator/ Communicator: Excellent interpersonal (written/oral communication skills) with brand and shopper teams to align on goals and what success looks like.
- A strong Influencer: Needs to gain a high level of sponsorship for the initiatives and plan at AOP, the innovation board and CEM.
- A relationship builder: Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build trusting business relationships.
- Passionate and inspiring: Responsible for driving portfolio activation best practice at Britvic.
