About the Role:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Warehouse Operative plays a key part in ensuring safe and efficient warehouse operations, supporting the team’s success.
Role Responsibilities:
- Use a powered pallet truck to pick cases onto pallets for the dray crew, employing safe manual‑handling techniques.
- Unload inbound stock where necessary.
- Use an FLT to assemble and load stock onto drays.
- Maintain health and safety standards in all procedures.
- Assist with stock counting as required.
- Keep all areas clean and tidy.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience using a reach truck; FLT / reach truck licence preferred.
- Experience working within an FMCG warehouse.
- Customer service mindset.
- Strong manual handling skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
