The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for reliable and dedicated people to join our Cleaning team. You will be working with one of our prestigious clients in a key role within the team. Location: St Helens Transport Interchange

Hours: 4 days on 2 off mix of earlies (07am-14:15) and lates (14:15-21:30)

Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:

  • General cleaning duties including offices, meeting rooms, toilets, corridors and public areas
  • Measuring and scoping the work required during your shift
  • Litter picking on platforms, car parks and public areas
  • Cleaning window frames, glazing, signs, seats, and surfaces
  • Sweeping floors including platforms and entrances
  • Emptying bins and removing waste

The ideal candidate

  • Completed school age education or training
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • Reliable and flexible, smart in appearance and always professional
  • Keen and motivated to do a great job
  • Proficient in using technology - we use various systems to log your work - we will provide the training
  • Preferably some experience working within a cleaning environment and as part of a team
  • Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Driving Licence (not required for all roles)

Successful candidates will need to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
