The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious clients. Drivers licence required due to use of company vehicle in patrols.
Location: Eastham, CH65 1AF
Hours: 4 on 4 off, including 2 x 8 hours (9am-5pm) and 2 x 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm) per week (mix of days and nights)
Pay: £12.62 per hour
Your core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring colleague safety and providing reassurance
- Driving company vehicle to conduct checks along Manchester Ship Canal
- Providing a visible, proactive, and engaging security presence to deter crime
- Managing conflicts effectively and taking control of incidents
- Controlling access and egress, conducting patrols
- Engaging professionally with the public
- Responding appropriately to hazards and incidents
- Providing guidance and information to customers
- Following safety and security procedures
- Working as part of a team and building strong relationships
The ideal candidate
- At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in front-line licensable activities
- SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
- Full UK manual drivers licence held for 2+ years with 6 points or less
- 5 years checkable work and address history
- Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
- Friendly, approachable, and professional
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Experience in security or customer-facing roles preferred
- Ability to interact positively with clients and customers
- Must provide original documentation for screening (passport, driving licence, utility bill, HMRC letter, bank statement, payslip, birth certificate, or share code)
