Regional Trainer

Overview

Carlisle Support Services is looking for a Regional Trainer to provide training solutions that meet the requirements of new and top-up related SIA licensing regulations. Deliver face to face training in Security and First Aid disciplines and courses relevant to our business and within skill set. Ensure that Carlisle Support Services remain compliant with all Security related training and any other training that may be required as part of the role. Work with the L&D team to maximise training opportunities and needs for the business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training to a best-in-class standard that conforms to regulatory standards such as SIA licensing and First Aid.
• Deliver training sessions that engage and inspire learners to be Sector Based Experts.
• Work with Key Stakeholders in all areas of the business to ensure training compliance.
• Modify and standardise training material.
• Book suitable training venues for workshops.
• Create and send training workshop joining instructions.
• Ensure training meets Quality Assurance as stipulated by the awarding body.
• Provide information and data to be published for the monthly board report.
• Be a credible Subject Matter Expert in the field of training.
• Review and maintain accurate data within the operation and training functions.
• Generate accurate and timely reports to be issued to key operational contacts (examples include Qualifications, Licenses).

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

Essential

• Minimum Level three teaching (PTLLS, AET or equivalent)
• Current SIA Door Supervisor, CCTV qualification and licence
• Current First Aid at Work certificate and Assessor qualification
• A current certificate (updated annually) from an approved Level 3 programme provider which details that the trainer is authorised to deliver the skills in the approved Level 2 physical intervention programme.

Any Of The Following

• Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (RQF)
• Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (RQF)
• Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (RQF)
• A1 Assessing Learners Using a Range of Methods
• D32 Assess Learner Performance
• D33 Assess Learner Using Different sources of evidence
• Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry
• Level 3 Delivery of Conflict Management Training (NQF/QCF/RQF)
• Unit 1 Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
• Desirable: L4 or Above Certificate in Education
• Level two or higher Spectator Safety
• IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate of Health and Safety
• CIPD Level five in L&D
• Membership of professional body
• Willing to undertake internal development programme

Travel

Travel to the Midlands is Required.

Screening

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes, which may include: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated within the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate, and a valid share code.
