The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for a Part-time Administrator who will be responsible for supporting the facilitation, delivery, and assessment of Work Based Learning (WBL) programmes and initiatives within the learning and development function.

Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:

  • Maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets).
  • Book classrooms and ensure they are set up for delivery and examinations.
  • Prepare and disseminate material (e.g. instructional notes, feedback forms).
  • Act as a point-of-contact for learners, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate financial tracking including management of learner loan agreements.
  • Liaise with finance department to ensure invoices are actioned weekly/monthly.
  • Resolve issues as they arise onsite.
  • Submit reports on training activities and results.
  • Send course certificates to learners.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Support apprenticeship coordinator.
  • Support invigilation.
  • Undertake CPD to support organisation and departmental needs.
  • Where required undertake duties to support wider organisational needs.

The ideal candidate

  • Strong working knowledge of learning within the private security industry.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of safety, and operational compliance protocols.
  • Experience in managing the full training cycle.
  • Knowledge and experience of learning systems and L&D reporting.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
  • Robust, collaborative team player with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Output orientated and business focused.
  • Achieve outcomes for clients that provide a wide range of benefits including jobs, apprenticeships, qualifications, and other progression routes.
  • IT literacy and ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of new technology.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and billing.
  • Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Qualifications:

  • L2 Business administration (Desirable)
  • L2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (Desirable)

Training to be provided:

  • L3 Safeguarding (Mandatory)
  • L3 First Aid at Work (Mandatory)
  • L2 Mental Health Awareness (Mandatory)

Hours - 18 -20 hours per week over 2.5 days
