Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced individuals to join our Project Support Team as Supervisors, supporting our prestigious clients nationwide. If you have a passion for cleaning, excellent attention to detail, and a drive to lead by example, this is your opportunity to step into a pivotal role with real career potential.
Hours: 40 hours per week – working pattern will vary depending on location, and hours will average out to 36 per week.
Pay: £12.60
Core Responsibilities
- Delivering high standards across facilities including washrooms and other public spaces
- Keeping all toilets clean of litter, spillages cleaned up, floors clean and tidy
- Keeping all consumables topped up
- Using a pump to unblock (training given) should it be needed
- Carrying out the duties of a janitor/cleaner to the highest specification
- Carrying out general and specialist cleaning duties in line with the role
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly checked, used, and maintained
- Recording all work via a handheld device and reporting issues accurately
- Completing all duties in accordance with rail safety regulations and internal procedures
- Remaining flexible with working hours and willing to travel
- Sweeping floors including waiting rooms and entrances
Qualifications
- Willing to learn and develop
- Reliable and flexible, smart in appearance and always professional
- Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
- Preferably some experience working within a cleaning environment and as part of a team
- Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Driving licence (not required for all roles)
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
